Kingston Y.M.C.A. v. Hampton United Football Club.- Played at Hampton on Saturday. The Young men, having won the toss, started play with the wind at their backs, and for the first ten minutes did most of the work. A corner fell to them, but nothing resulted. Just before half time they had hard luck, a shot by Parry striking the tape which broke. When sides were changed no score had been obtained by either side. Then Hampton out of a melee scored the first goal. This put the Y.M.C.A. on their mettle, and they played up with determination, and before time was called had succeeded in scoring three goals (kicked by Parry), one being disputed. Sides Y.M.C.A: E. W. Stringer (goal), J.Bignel and A. Collins (backs), G. Kerrison, F. H. Dolling, J. G. Peck (half backs), J. Kemp and B. Carn (right); E. H. Parry (centre), W. G. Carn and H. L. Harris (left forwards). Hampton United: Ovens (goal), Goldsworthy and Armes (backs), Hall and Cunnington (half backs), Tench, Becks, Langshaw, Redgrove, Cooper and Tollman (forwards).
