Reports on the formation of a Cricket club by Kingston & Surbiton Y.M.C.A. in the Summer
of 1886 as an offshoot to the football club.


Report of the formation of the club in Kingston & Surbiton News dated 29th May 1986
A cricket club has been formed in connection with the Kingston & Surbiton Y.M.C.A. About 25 members have already been enrolled, and any wishing to join should send their names to Mr. Harrison J. Briscoe, Hollywood, Fassett-road, who is the honorary secretary. Full particulars can also be obtained from the Y.M.C.A rooms, Union-street, Kingston. The club plays a match with Spring Grove C.C next Wednesday.
