The
earliest known photo relating to Kingstonian F.C.
This shows the founder of the club, William G. Carn, wearing Saxons colours and places this around 1888. Picture Copyright Surrey Comet 18th March 1931 and used with permission. |

The
earliest known team photo from the 1896-1897 featuring the A-Team (effectively
the reserves, although A-Teams sometimes had their own separate status
and organisation within a club).
No full list of names is available and the names known cannot be matched with specific faces. The first mention of a team photograph being taken was on February 1888 by G.T. Jones of Surbiton but a copy has never been traced. This photo was taken from a booklet called "Kingstonian football- it's origins and progress" printed by the Kingstonian Supporters Club in 1950. Many more early team photos from the booklet, which has been scanned in full, can be seen in the programmes section of the website and have therefore been excluded from this gallery unless of special interest or higher resolution. |

Old
Kingstonians 1909-1910
This team photo has been taken from a postcard issued at the time and shows the seated stand at their Norbiton ground. They are in possession of the cup for the West Surrey league which they won that season. This is from my own collection and there are no restrictions to use assuming original copyright has lapsed which it almost certainly has. |

Old
Kingstonians 1912-1913
Another postcard produced by the club and shows them with a shield which is probably for their Southern Suburban League win in that season although cannot be confirmed. This is from my own collection and there are no restrictions to use assuming original copyright has lapsed which it almost certainly has. |
